MOSCOW, Jan 21 (PRIME) -- The October–December steel output of Russia’s Severstal decreased by 4% on the quarter to 2.767 million tonnes due to repairs on a line, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Consolidated sales of steel products went down by 18% on the quarter to 2.447 million tonnes.
In 2020, the company’s steel output contracted by 4% to 11.314 million tonnes mainly due to the sale of Long Product Mill Balakovo in 2019.
Cast iron production grew by 1% to 9.541 million tonnes. Consolidated sales of steel products went down by 4% to 10.736 million tonnes.
